TRAMA TWO table lamp TRAME collection

Fashion ateliers are not the only laboratories where sewing takes place: a lamp can also wrap itself in a bright fabric garment. The new TRAME collection, created by the designer-artist Oçilunam, consists of a collection of lamps made using traditional fashion clothing craft techniques.

The lampshades of T ONE/TWO have the appearance of a lattice structure and are entirely handmade, reinforced and fireproofed with resin. Thanks to this treatment, the lampshade retains the visual effect of hand-sewn fabric or crochet work, yet is solid and firm to the touch. The lights create a wonderful atmosphere through the shadow play of the crocheted wool, very close and warm. Added to this are the colored viscose covers of the suspension. (blue, red, yellow, gold, white, fluorescent orange).

Other models of the TRAME series offer a structure in Nebulite® dressed with a striped yarn, realized by experienced tailors. The pattern and geometry of the fabrics are reminiscent of pop art, but the real protagonist is the fabric color, which has an almost magical effect when in use.
