Dear Swiss customers,
Everything is very simple for you:
As a customer from a non-EU country, you can shop with us VAT-free. The prices quoted in the online store initially include German VAT (19%). After entering your billing and delivery address, the net prices will be displayed and calculated.
When shipping to Switzerland, you are considered the "importer". You will therefore be charged Swiss import sales tax (VAT) as well as customs clearance and import fees. Don't worry: the registration and declaration of the goods is handled by ARTYLUX for you during shipping. This saves time and money. Processing is handled by our shipper DHL. Swiss Post will invoice you.
Here is our brief summary of the costs for importing non-commercial orders at ARTYLUX:
Two fees are due: 3% Swiss customs fee and CHF 12.00 - 17.50 customs clearance fee.
The import sales tax is then calculated. The first two items are added to the invoice amount and the VAT rate is then applied to the total.
You can also find more information about the fees here: /www.ch.ch/de/zoll/einkaufstourismus

In some cases, shipping to a German address may be easier. However, you will then of course be charged German VAT. There is the possibility of a refund if you have an export certificate stamped by customs. We ask for your understanding that we can only offer this service by prior arrangement and, depending on the order value, for a fee. Sprechen Sie uns einfach im Vorfeld Ihrer Bestellung darauf an.
Due to their size, some lights are no longer covered by the standard shipping flat rate to Switzerland. In such rare cases, we reserve the right to request shipping from several carriers and charge the difference. We ask for your understanding.
